The MV Helena berths at Rupert’s Bay when at St Helena to carry out the cargo operations. This berth was designed specifically to handle the islands cargo demands and has been a certified port since March 2018.

The MV Helena remains at anchor when at Ascension Island, passengers arriving on the MV Helena Disembark the vessel by harness and ladder to a waiting tender vessel. Passengers are then escorted round to George Town to complete entry formalities.
